infoAbout SlipTrace

The sim racing portfolio
you never had.

SlipTrace is a platform that captures your lap data from your PC sim, syncs it to mobile, and turns every session into a profile you can analyse, compare, and share, the way Strava does for running.

historyThe Story

Built from a real problem in sim racing

I'm a runner. My friends and I use Strava to log every run, compare pace, and quietly show off our splits, it's how we stay accountable and push each other forward. When a friend got into sim racing, we started talking about his sessions the same way. Then came the moment: comparing consistency laps on a track in ACC, he had to quit out, dig through saved replays, and screenshot the time table just to show me his sector splits.

That was it. Why doesn't sim racing have a Strava? You put in real hours. You grind setups, learn every braking zone, chase tenths. But without a way to track and share that progress, you're flying blind, and your best sessions disappear the moment you close the sim.

SlipTrace is built to fix that. A PC companion watches your live session, syncs every lap to mobile, and turns each stint into a profile worth sharing. Track your progress over time. Compare sessions with friends. Post your fastest lap the same way you'd share a new personal best after a race.

“You work hard towards your goal, but without tracking and analysing it, you don't know whether you're going in the right direction. That's the problem SlipTrace solves.”

Built by one developer

SlipTrace is a solo project, designed, built, and maintained by one person who runs, races, and cares deeply about getting this right. There's no team, no VC funding, no corporate roadmap. Just a developer who wanted this tool to exist and decided to build it.

Every donation goes directly toward development time, server costs, and new features. If this project resonates with you, supporting it makes a real and immediate difference to what gets built next.
