Where SlipTrace
is going.
Everything we're building — in progress, and on the horizon. Your racing history starts accumulating the moment you sign up. It can't be backdated.

Hardware
The big one
Built and being tested.
All of this is built and running in internal testing. The core of what makes SlipTrace worth waiting for.
ACC + iRacing session capture
Every lap, sector split, and incident — logged live from the sim and synced to your profile the moment you step away from the rig.
Driver portfolio
Total laps, total km, personal bests at every circuit, milestone badges. Your racing identity, built automatically, session by session.
Social feed + community
Follow drivers, like sessions, leave comments. A feed of people who actually race — not highlights reels, real training sessions.
Session share cards
Auto-generated graphics built for Discord, Reddit, and Instagram. One tap to post your PB to the community.
Push notifications
New personal best, milestones reached, likes and comments. Your phone knows before your brain has caught up.
PC companion — silent capture
Runs in the system tray, auto-starts on boot. No setup between sessions. It just works.
Very few spots. Waitlist order.
Beta opens to a small first wave from the waitlist. Position matters — the earlier you signed up, the closer you are to the front.
iOS app
Native iOS app already in development. Full feature parity with Android — arriving with v1.
Web profile pages
Public driver profiles accessible from any browser. Send your portfolio link to anyone, no app required.
Track map display
Visual circuit maps on session cards and detail pages. See which track at a glance, for every session in your history.
Le Mans Ultimate
Third simulator fully supported. Every WEC and IMSA circuit, lap-by-lap, synced to your profile.
Weekly recap email
Your week in racing, every Monday. Laps driven, personal bests, milestones, and a look at what others in your feed achieved.
Companion auto-update
The PC companion updates itself. No hunting for installer links, no manual reinstalls, no version drift.
What's being built.
These are the features driving people onto the waitlist. The earlier you join, the more racing history you'll have when they ship — and history can't be reconstructed.
Driven track map player
Near-termYour actual racing line — rendered over the circuit layout, lap by lap. See where you braked too early, where you went wide, where you found time. Like Strava's route player, but for a track. We already capture your position data every 200ms. This feature makes it visible.
Forza Motorsport + Gran Turismo
Near-termForza has a public UDP data API. Gran Turismo has a documented community protocol. Both have enormous audiences who have never had anywhere to log their laps. We are building the adapters.
Assetto Corsa Evo + AC Original
Near-termAC Evo launches with a clean official track set — no mod chaos to deal with. AC Original support for the licensed Kunos circuits. Thousands of drivers who have never been able to log their sessions.
Richer in-session data
Near-termLap times are the start. Incidents, penalties, spins detected from telemetry, time lost to each event, VSC and slow-zone periods, tyre compound and wear across a stint. Sessions will tell the complete story of what happened on track.
Live session screen
Near-termWatch your laps live on your phone while you race. Current lap time, delta to best, speed, gear, RPM. Local network first for private rigs, Firebase fallback for public sim lounges.
AI race debrief
Further outAfter every session, a short written summary of your actual performance. Not generic coaching boilerplate — contextual to your data. Sector trends against your own history. Where you are losing time and why.
Rival comparison
Further outPick a driver you follow. See their best lap overlaid against yours at the same track and car, sector by sector. The gap between you made specific.
Public leaderboards
Further outCommunity-wide personal bests at every circuit, by sim and by car class. GT3 at Spa. LMP2 at Le Mans. See exactly where you rank among every driver who has ever posted a lap here.
Sim racing is how you train. Real racing is why you train.
SlipTrace is expanding beyond the sim rig. GPS track days, OBD-II integration, karting, amateur circuit racing — every lap you drive, whether it's in ACC at midnight or at Brands Hatch on a Saturday, logged to the same profile.
GPS track days
Bring your phone to any circuit. Automatic lap detection, driven line capture, speed trace, session summary. No special hardware required.
OBD-II integration
A Bluetooth OBD-II dongle adds RPM, throttle position, and richer speed data. They cost under £20. Every car made after 1996 already has the port.
Karting
GPS lap timing built for kart circuits. Short tracks, fast counters, the same profile you already have from sim — now for arrive-and-drive days too.
High-accuracy GPS
Support for AiM Solo, RaceBox Mini, and similar 10-25Hz devices for drivers who want sub-metre accuracy and full telemetry on real circuits.
Every lap you've ever driven — sim or real — in one place.
Your portfolio starts with session one
You can't backfill your history.
Every driver ahead of you on the list has a longer record. The gap grows every week they race and you don't.
