Terms of Service

SlipTrace is a beta sim racing telemetry, session history, and driver portfolio service. Features may change, break, be removed, or be unavailable. Beta data may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or lost.

You must be old enough to use online services in your region and able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for your account, credentials, device pairing codes, and activity under your account.

You retain your rights in telemetry, sessions, profile information, comments, avatars, and other content you submit. You grant SlipTrace a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, analyze, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the Service, including public profile/session pages when you choose or keep content public.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of simulator telemetry, third-party simulator software, and related data extraction complies with any simulator or platform terms that apply to you.

Public sessions, public profiles, comments, likes, usernames, avatars, stats, and displayed donor tiers may be visible to other users or public visitors. Do not publish content you are not comfortable making public.

• Do not harass, impersonate, spam, or abuse other users.
• Do not submit illegal, hateful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Do not scrape, crawl, resell, or bulk export public endpoints without permission.
• Do not reverse engineer, attack, overload, or bypass limits on the Service, APIs, PC Companion, or pairing flows.
• Do not inject false, synthetic, or manipulated telemetry intended to mislead other users.
• Do not share accounts, sell access, or use SlipTrace for unauthorized commercial activity.

SlipTrace prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking of minors, or any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children.

Users can report child safety concerns in the app where feedback or reporting controls are available, or by contacting sliptrace.support@gmail.com.

When SlipTrace becomes aware of CSAM or CSAE-related activity, we will take appropriate action, including removing content, restricting accounts, preserving relevant evidence where legally appropriate, and reporting to law enforcement or child safety organizations where required by law.

SlipTrace complies with applicable child safety laws and cooperates with valid legal requests concerning CSAE and CSAM. Child safety contact: sliptrace.support@gmail.com.

Donations are processed by Ko-fi. Ko-fi handles payment details directly. SlipTrace receives donation metadata such as transaction ID, amount, currency, donor name/message, extracted email, and donor tier so we can match supporter benefits. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by law or explicitly agreed by us.

Simulator telemetry, lap timing, incidents, personal bests, sectors, maps, and derived stats are provided for personal tracking and entertainment. They are not official race records and should not be used for safety, stewarding, betting, employment, or other high-stakes decisions.

We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, revoke device pairings, or restrict features if we believe there is abuse, security risk, fraud, legal exposure, or violation of these Terms. You may request account deletion from the app or by contacting support.

SlipTrace is provided on an as-is and as-available basis during beta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, compatibility with every simulator update, or recovery of local or cloud data.

SlipTrace software, branding, designs, website, and service code are owned by SlipTrace or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of SlipTrace intellectual property to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SlipTrace and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, racing history, or use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid SlipTrace in the 12 months before the claim or GBP 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may update these Terms as the beta changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
